In 2024 Craig worked with the Weber State University President to create an Executive in Residence focusing on mentoring and guiding accelerated MBA students.
He also lectures to and mentors aerospace students from McMaster University in Toronto, Canada.
In 2024, Craig was asked to join the advisory group for Secured Quantum Services.
In 2022 Craig retired from The Boeing Co after 32 years in Engineering, Product Development, Operations, and Interior Supply Chain manufacturing.
Craig was Interim Vice President of Manufacturing in Product Development for the New Middle of the Market airplane, a follow on to the 787. He was asked by the Executive Council to work on a team to drive a solution to the company’s issues after the 737 MAX incidents and issues due to Covid. He also led multiple business units including Boeing Salt Lake, the Boeing Electrical value chain, Airplane Development and Fabrication Engineering.
Craig was born in Ogden, Utah, and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering technology from Weber State University and a master’s degree in business administration from Seattle University in 1995. He completed senior executive programs at Columbia University and University of Washington.
Craig chairs the Weber State University President’s National Advisory Council. He also served on the engineering advisory board at Weber State University. He also served on the board of directors for the Utah Manufacturing Association and on the board of trustees for Bloodworks Northwest.
Craig is married and has three children and one granddaughter. He is active in traveling, exercise, running, golfing, lecturing, board and volunteer work and mentoring.
